Set 5 minutes aside for a short break
Use five minutes for a short break or a quick task before returning to longer work. The progress bar shows how much of the break is left.
The countdown holds its remaining time while paused. Keep the page open and test sound before starting if you need an audible finish.
How to use this tool
- Check that Minutes is set to 5 and Seconds to 0.
- Choose sound or silent timing, then press Start.
- Pause to hold the remaining time or Reset to begin again.
Example
Five minutes contains 300 seconds. Halfway through, the clock shows 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Can I repeat this break automatically?
Use the repeating timer for an ongoing cycle, or set work and break periods in the Pomodoro timer.
