Time dishes that finish at different moments

Several dishes rarely need the same cooking time. Separate named timers keep a short wait from being lost inside a longer countdown.

Each timer can start on its own. An alert only tells you that the chosen duration has ended. Check food using the method and temperature required by your recipe.

How to use this tool

  1. Set a duration and name the first cooking task.
  2. Add another timer for the next dish.
  3. Start each timer when that part of the recipe begins.

Example

Use 180 seconds for a short steep and 1,200 seconds for a 20 minute bake. Starting the second countdown leaves the first one running.

Common questions

Can I keep one timer running while I reset another?

Yes. The controls belong to each timer, so pausing or resetting one does not change the others.
