Add journey hours before converting the arrival time
Travel duration is elapsed time, not the difference between two local clock readings. The calculator adds the journey hours to the departure moment, then shows that result in the destination zone.
Include connection time yourself if it belongs in the total trip. The tool does not retrieve flights, routes, delays or transport schedules.
How to use this tool
- Choose the departure and destination time zones.
- Enter the local departure date and time.
- Enter total elapsed journey hours and read the arrival result.
Example
An 8 hour journey leaving at 10:00 UTC arrives at 18:00 UTC. If the destination is 4 hours ahead of UTC at arrival, its local clock shows 22:00.
Common questions
Does it include connections and delays?
Only the duration you enter. Add waiting and connection hours to that value when you want an estimate for the whole trip.
