Turn logged time into a simple charge

Enter total time in decimal hours. Remove the part that is not billable, then apply the hourly rate. Use the decimal hours converter first if your record is in hours and minutes.

The result uses one rate and one allowance for nonbillable time. It does not include tax, expenses, discounts or several billing rates.

How to use this tool

  1. Enter total hours and nonbillable hours.
  2. Enter the hourly rate.
  3. Read the billable time and amount in your currency.

Example

For 8 total hours with 1 nonbillable hour at a rate of 50, the billable time is 7 hours and the charge is 350.
