Work in clear focus sessions

A Pomodoro timer separates focused work from rest. The usual starting point is 25 minutes of work followed by a 5 minute break. Both values are editable here.

The timer counts completed focus rounds. Longer breaks fall after every fourth round when more rounds remain. The session ends after the final focus round.

How to use this tool

  1. Set focus minutes and seconds.
  2. Choose break lengths and the number of work rounds.
  3. Press Start. Use Pause to hold the timer or Reset to begin again.

Example

Four rounds of 25 minutes include 100 minutes of focused work. Three 5 minute breaks between those rounds add 15 minutes, for a total of 115 minutes.

Common questions

Does the timer start breaks automatically?

Yes. It switches between focus and break periods until the selected work rounds are complete.

Will an alarm work after I close the page?

Keep the page open and test the sound first. A closed or suspended browser cannot guarantee an alert.
